Apple Stores: The New Disneyland



Apple's fifth New York City store opens in Grand Central Station today. The WSJ offers a telling statistic:
More people now visit Apple's stores in a single quarter than the 60 million who visited Walt Disney Co.'s four biggest theme parks last year….
Marketing moral: The Secret of Sales is Service.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, Apple has posted an amazing 360 photo of the Grand Central Store. As you hold the device and rotate in place, the image scrolls as if you were there. If you point the device to the ceiling, you see the ceiling. Damnedest thing I've ever seen.
