Huguette Clark's estate is back in the news, propelled by reports that in 2005, at age 98, she made two wills within six weeks. The first benefited mainly her relatives. The second, which was offered for probate, left family members nothing.

On the one hand, this woman seems clearly to have captured by her financial advisors, and taken advantage of. On the other hand, where was her family before she died? Why didn't they take some action when the handlers refused to put their calls through?
No one looks good here. Makes me sympathize with those who seek a 55% federal estate tax.
