Setback for estate tax reform

Contrary to my earlier post, Tax Notes today reports that the Kyl-Lincoln estate tax amendment won't be voted on in connection with the legislation for tax breaks for small business, H.R. 5297.  Majority Leader Reid is against it. Kyl is reportedly looking for other ways to get the bipartisan compromise to the Senate floor.
